Investigation into İmamoğlu's two lawyers!

It was reported that the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office launched an investigation into Kemal Polat and Mehmet Pehlivan, the lawyers of the detained presidential candidate Ekrem İmamoğlu, over allegations that Ertan Yıldız's statement was taken under pressure.
On the morning of March 19, the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office launched a "financial crimes" operation against presidential candidate Ekrem İmamoğlu and bureaucrats working at the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality. İmamoğlu and many bureaucrats were arrested as a result of these operations. İmamoğlu's advisor Ertan Yıldız, who was among those arrested, gave a statement within the scope of "active repentance."
The Chief Public Prosecutor's Office did not find Yıldız's statement, which he used the expressions "I heard", "I guess" and "I think" regarding the bribery allegations, sufficient for him to benefit from effective remorse and sent him to Kandıra Prison, where he is being held.
Following the allegations that 'Ertan Yıldız's statement was obtained under pressure', which have been put forward in the last three days, the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has launched an investigation. The Chief Public Prosecutor's Office's statement stated that an investigation was launched into İmamoğlu's lawyers Kemal Polat and Mehmet Pehlivan over the allegations that Ertan Yıldız 'was forced to sign a press release stating that his effective remorse statement was obtained under pressure and that he was threatened for this'.
