In organ donation, donor relatives will be given priority in transplantation.

Citizens will be able to complete organ donation transactions electronically through the Organ Donation Application or e-Pulse System on the e-Government system. After identity verification with a secure electronic signature, mobile signature, or e-Government password, the donation process will be completed through a two-step verification method.

Donors can change their declarations at any time via the same digital platforms. Those notified during the declaration process will be notified through the e-Pulse system.

Priority for organ donor families on the transplant waiting list

Spouses and first-degree relatives of donors whose organs have been transplanted to others will be prioritized on the waiting list after emergency patients if they need an organ transplant.

In cases where the person does not have any declaration regarding organ donation, the organ or tissue will be taken with the consent of the spouse, adult children, mother and father or one of the siblings who were with him at the time of death, or if they are not present, with the consent of any relative who was with him.
