Trump: I'll start sending letters starting tomorrow

US President Donald Trump spoke to the press as he left Washington to attend an event in Iowa.
Trump, who emphasized that his real desire on trade agreements is to "send letters to countries and tell them the tariff rate they will pay," said, "That's much easier. As you know, there are over 170 countries and how many agreements can you make? You can make good agreements, but they are much more complicated."
Trump said countries wanted specific agreements that included various clauses, but he preferred to make a simple deal.
Trump said they will probably send out "tariff letters" to various countries starting tomorrow, adding, "We will be sending out letters, maybe 10 a day, to various countries, telling them how much they will pay to trade with the United States."
"We will achieve record growth"Trump said the bill, which was passed by Congress and called "One Big Beautiful Bill", would turn the country into a "rocket ship" and announced that he would sign the bill at 17:00 local time on Friday.
Stating that they will achieve record growth, Trump said, "My first term was very, very successful. We had the greatest economy in the history of our country. I think we will surpass that this term."
