The President of the Antalya Pastry Chamber committed suicide after being shot by two people.

The incident took place at around 10:30 p.m. at a pastry shop on 2428th Street in the Yeni Mahalle neighborhood of the Kepez district. According to reports, Elif Kılıç (32), who works at a shop owned by Kerim Üre (54), the President of the Antalya Pastry Association, and her friend Hasan Fırat (30) met at the pastry shop and began chatting. After a while, an argument broke out between Kerim Üre and Hasan Fırat for an unknown reason, escalating into a fight. At this point, Üre pulled out his gun and started shooting.
Hasan Fırat and Elif Kılıç, who were struck by bullets fired from Üre's gun, were seriously injured. Numerous police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene after bystanders alerted the 112 Emergency Call Center. Kerim Üre fled the scene in his vehicle. Üre stopped his vehicle on 5509th Street in the Habipler neighborhood and committed suicide with his gun inside the vehicle.
Paramedics arrived at the scene and transported Hasan Fırat and Elif Kılıç to nearby hospitals. Despite doctors' best efforts, they could not be saved. Police officers found numerous spent cartridges during their investigation. An investigation has been launched into the incident.
