September rent increase announcement date

WHEN WILL THE SEPTEMBER RENTAL INCREASE RATE BE ANNOUNCED?

The Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) will share August inflation data with the public at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 3, 2025. The data will also determine the rent increase rate for September.

Rent increases are determined based on the 12-month average CPI. Therefore, the legal upper limit for both residential and commercial rents will be clarified following the August inflation data from TurkStat.

WHAT WAS THE RENT INCREASE RATE LAST MONTH?

The rent increase for homes and businesses was set at 41.13% last month. Residents whose leases expired in August began making payments with a 41.13% increase.
