Latest status on collective bargaining raise for public workers 2025: How much will the raise be for public workers, has an offer been submitted to the workers' side?

Minister Işıkhan stated in his statement to AA correspondent that collective bargaining negotiations concerning public workers are continuing. He stated that TÜHİS (Turkish Heavy Industry and Service Sector Public Employers Union) has completed its work in line with the demands of TÜRK-İŞ and HAK-İŞ, who are at the table representing the workers.

Işıkhan, who stated that the negotiations were carried out under the coordination of the Ministry of Treasury and Finance and the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, announced that the first raise offer for public workers would be presented after the Eid al-Adha. Minister Işıkhan said the following in his statement: "Hopefully, we will have presented our first offer to our public workers after the holiday. The negotiation process will begin after TÜHİS makes its offer. I sincerely believe that we will complete this process with consensus at that table where we come together with our labor unions."

An official increase rate has not yet been announced. However, it is known that the demands of labor unions are shaped by high inflation and living costs. Considering the increases made in 2023 and 2024, expectations for 2025 are formed as inflation difference + welfare share.
