The awards ceremony was held at the 31st Sarajevo Film Festival

The awards, named "Heart of Sarajevo," were presented at a ceremony held after a red carpet ceremony at the National Theatre building in the capital Sarajevo.
Fifty films competed in the feature, short, documentary and student film categories at the SFF, which began on August 15.

🔹 AA Live for instant developmentsSerbian director Stefan Dordevic's "Vjetre, Pricaj sa Mnom (Wind, Talk to Me)" won the Best Feature Film award. Ivana Mladenovic won the Best Director award for her film "Sorella di Clausura."
Andrija Kuzmanovic won the "Best Actor" award for his performance in "Yugo Florida," while Sarah al Saleh, Aline Juhart, Mina Milovanovic and Mia Skrbinac shared the "Best Actress" award for their performances in "Fantazija."
The "Best Documentary" award went to director Ivette Löcker's "Unsere Zeıt Wırd Kommen" and the "Best Short Documentary" award went to Mariam Bakacho Khatchvani's "Kacebis Mitsa".
Natalia Mirzoyan received the "Best Short Film" award for her film "Lumi Saadab Meid", while director Adem Tutic won the "Best Student Film" award for his film "Tarık".
The "Heart of Sarajevo" Honorary Award was presented this year to Italian director Paolo Sorrentino, American actor Willem Dafoe, Swedish actor Stellan Skarsgard and British actor Ray Winstone.
This year, more than 200 films from 65 countries were presented to cinemagoers at the festival.
The festival, which has been held for 31 years to erase the traces of war in Bosnia and Herzegovina, has hosted many world-famous names.
The SFF's most special award, the "Heart of Sarajevo" Honorary Award, was presented to Morgan Freeman in 2010, Angelina Jolie in 2011, Robert de Niro in 2016, Oliver Stone in 2017, Nuri Bilge Ceylan in 2018, Tim Roth in 2019, Wim Wenders in 2021, Ruben Östlund, Jesse Eisenberg and Mads Mikkelsen in 2022, Charlie Kaufman in 2023 and Meg Ryan in 2024.
While world-famous names such as Robert de Niro, Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt, Orlando Bloom, Daniel Craig, John Malkovich, Morgan Freeman and Nuri Bilge Ceylan have participated in the festival to date, many Turkish productions have also received awards at the festival.
