In the play-off, where the league's third-placed team Fatih Karagümrük directly advances to the final with the changed status in 2022-2023, the other 4 teams will meet in a single match in the first round of the play-off on Thursday, May 15. The teams that will pass the Teksüt Bandırmaspor-Erzurumspor FK and Uğur Okulları İstanbulspor-Geosis Boluspor matches will play two matches in the other round.

The play-off final will be played as a single match at a neutral venue to be determined later.

Boluspor, the team that has played the most play-offs in the history of the First League, will compete in the play-offs for the 8th time. İstanbulspor will be in fifth place, Erzurumspor FK will be in third place, and Bandırmaspor and Fatih Karagümrük will be in the play-offs for the second time.

Fatih Karagümrük, who previously competed in the play-offs in 2019-2020, received a Super League visa by defeating Adana Demirspor in the final match played in Ankara.

BANDIRMASPOR'S SECOND PLAY-OFF

Bandırmaspor, which made it to the play-off finals in the 2021-2022 season, could not advance to the Super League after losing to İstanbulspor in the finals in Kocaeli.

ISTANBULSPOR IN THE PLAY-OFFS FOR THE 5TH TIME

İstanbulspor, which had previously made it to the play-offs in 1993-1994, 2005-2006 and 2020-2021 but could not be promoted to the Super League, received a Super League visa in 2021-2022 by overcoming the obstacle of Bandırmaspor in the final.

ERZURUMSPOR FK IS AFTER THE SUPER LEAGUE FOR THE SECOND TIME

Erzurumspor FK, which was promoted to the Super League for the first time in its history by defeating Gazişehir Gaziantep in the play-off final in Bursa in 2017-2018, could not be successful despite making it to the play-offs in 2021-2022.

BOLUSPOR'S 8TH PLAY-OFF

Boluspor, the team that has played in the play-offs the most in the 1st League, has only been successful in 1 of the previous 7 play-offs. The Bolu team, which won the Super League by defeating Düzcespor in 1979-1980, was eliminated in the play-offs in 1994-1995, 2007-2008, 2008-2009, 2016-2017, 2017-2018 and last season.
