"What's Happening in the Used Car Market?

The best-selling brands in the second-hand car market in Türkiye in the first seven months of 2025 have been announced.

Renault is at the top, followed by Fiat and Volkswagen.

However, the most striking data is that a large portion of sales come from older vehicles.

Nearly 57 percent of the vehicles on the market are 10 years old or older.

Renault: 60.6% of its total sales consist of vehicles 10 years old and older, and it maintains its leadership in this segment with a 17.76% share. Fiat: 63.86% of its sales come from models 10 years old and older.

VW: 56% of its sales are vehicles in this age group.

This data once again shows that consumers have been turning to more affordable and older vehicles for a long time.
