Unlicensed motorcyclist crashes into police officer! He disobeyed the 'stop' warning

The seriously injured police officer and the unlicensed driver, Fevzi K., who fell from the motorcycle, were taken to hospital. An investigation has been launched into the incident.

The incident occurred at a police checkpoint in the Yavuz Sultan neighborhood around 10:30 a.m. Fevzi K., who disobeyed a "stop" warning, hit traffic police officer Yusuf Ceritlioğlu with his motorcycle.

Fevzi K., who was trying to escape, fell from his motorcycle and was seriously injured, suffering a blow to the head and a broken left leg. Ceritlioğlu received first aid from his colleagues and was taken by ambulance to Aksaray Training and Research Hospital. Fevzi K., who was slightly injured and fled because he didn't have a driver's license, was also taken by ambulance to the same hospital for treatment.
