Two detained in knife attack on UK train

Two people arrested in connection with the attack on a train in which several people were stabbed in England
British Transport Police (BTP), which reported that many people were injured in a knife attack on a train in Huntingdon, England, announced that two people were detained in connection with the incident.
In a post on the social media platform of BTP's US-based company X, the following was stated: "We are responding to an incident in Huntingdon where several people were stabbed. Our officers, along with the Cambridgeshire Police Department, were dispatched to the scene. Two people were taken into custody."
Cambridgeshire Police, responsible for security in Huntingdon, told British media that many people on the train in Huntingdon were stabbed in the incident, which occurred at 19:39 local time (22:39 Turkish time), and that the injured were taken to hospital.
London North Eastern Railway (LNER), which provides rail services in the region, also announced in a statement that all lines passing through Huntingdon were closed and emergency teams were responding to the incident in the area.
LNER has warned passengers to delay their journeys and avoid going to stations.
The East of England Ambulance Service, which is responsible for ambulance services in the east of England, announced that they had directed emergency teams such as numerous ambulances, intensive care teams, and two air ambulances to the region and transported many people to hospitals.
An eyewitness named Gavin told Sky News that a man entered the carriage covered in blood and said, "They have knives, I've been stabbed."
"They were coming to our carriage to escape from the suspects. They were covered in blood," Gavin said, explaining that at this point the train pulled into the station and stopped.
Gavin added that the first person to arrive at the carriage collapsed but was immediately put into an ambulance at the station.
