The Bosphorus will wave with national pride

Thousands of people will gather on the shores of the Bosphorus to share in the excitement of the TEKNOFEST Blue Homeland Bosphorus Crossing, to which all our people are invited with the call to "Come, take the Turkish flag."

Our citizens, who will salute our navy with flags in their hands, will witness unforgettable moments when the sky and the sea will be painted red and white.

The Turkish Navy's elite platforms, including the TCG Anadolu, TCG Savarona, and the TCG HIZIRREİS submarine, will be in the Bosphorus between 3:30 PM and 6:30 PM. The passage, which will begin at the Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge, will continue via Sarıyer, Tarabya, Emirgan, Kanlıca, Rumeli Hisarı, Kandilli, Bebek, Ortaköy, and the July 15 Martyrs' Bridge. Following a salute to President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan at Dolmabahçe, the passage will conclude at Moda, Caddebostan, and the Maltepe coast, where the Bosphorus will be a spectacular sight.

During this historic cruise, TCG ANADOLU and TCG Savarona will host young TEKNOFEST competitors, children of martyrs, and children in homes of love, giving them an unforgettable day.

National Technology Initiative Meets with Blue Homeland: August 30-31

Following this visual feast on the Bosphorus, the excitement will continue at the Istanbul Naval Shipyard on August 30-31, 2025. The event, a maritime reflection of the National Technology Initiative, will feature a fierce competition for future naval technologies. Young TEKNOFEST competitors will showcase their talents in Unmanned Underwater Systems, Underwater Rockets, and Unmanned Marine Vehicle competitions.

Many activities such as the Naval Forces ship model exhibition, virtual reality experience areas, SAT and SAS Command demonstrations, Dragon Rowing Race and Ship Design Workshop will be waiting for technology enthusiasts in the event area.

A special privilege for young talents

Winners of the Painting and Article Competitions held as part of the event will have the opportunity to witness Turkish maritime history up close by visiting special platforms such as TCG ANADOLU, TCG Savarona, TCG Sakarya and TCG HIZIRREİS.
