Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan met with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Arakçi in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, where he was attending the BRICS Summit. According to information received from ministry sources, bilateral and regional issues as well as the negotiation process regarding Iran’s nuclear activities were discussed during the meeting, and Minister Fidan stated that Turkey was in favor of resolving all issues in its region through diplomacy and that they would provide all kinds of support for steps to be taken in this direction.
