Green light from Fatih Erbakan, leader of the New Welfare Party, to the alliance with the Saadet Party

Fatih Erbakan , the leader of the New Welfare Party, said on the possibility of an alliance with the People's Alliance, "One thing we can say for sure is that we will not come together with the People's Alliance," and gave the green light to an alliance with the Felicity Party.
New Welfare Party Leader Erbakan made evaluations on the agenda on Ekol TV.
“Our member count has reached 650 thousand, our target is 1 million”Stating that preparations for the 3rd Regular Grand Congress are ongoing, Erbakan gave the following information about his parties:
"We are working diligently as if the election will happen this Sunday at any moment with the goal of increasing our membership to 1 million this year. Our membership number is now 650 thousand. There was a very serious demand especially during the election period. Before the March 31 elections. Last year, we increased our membership number by 257 thousand in 2024. The membership increase of all other parties, including the AK Party, remained at the level of 210 thousand. In other words, we increased our membership more than the total membership increase of all other parties and became the champion of growth."
“We are in opposition but we continue our path independently”Underlining that they will definitely not come together with the People's Alliance, Erbakan said, " We are currently on the opposition side. Especially in the local elections on March 31, when we put forward separate candidates in big cities, we actually acted against the People's Alliance and took our place outside the People's Alliance. Therefore, we are currently in the opposition, but there is no other alliance or bloc left. We continue on our path independently. Of course, one thing we can say for sure is that we will not come together with the People's Alliance. The nation also wants this from us in this way. They especially emphasize this in the places we go. We also emphasize that there will be no unity again ."
"There may be a possibility of cooperation with the Felicity Party"On the possibility of an alliance with the Felicity Party, Erbakan responded, "We are conducting politics on the same level, on the same line, on many issues, both domestically and internationally, and in terms of the criticisms we bring to the government, including the economy. Our roots come from the same place, they feed off of it. They feed off of the National Vision Movement. Therefore, there may be a possibility of a union, a collaboration in the form of an alliance with the Felicity Party in the upcoming elections."
