DMM denied the claim that 39 students at a school in Bursa received full scores in the LGS.

In a statement made on its social media account, the Directorate of Communications ' Center for Combating Disinformation (DMM) stated that the claims in some media outlets that "39 students from Bursa Mahmut Celalettin Ökten Imam Hatip Secondary School received a full 500 points in the 2025 LGS" did not reflect the truth.
The statement, which stated that the Ministry of National Education was being unfairly targeted through these allegations, included the statement, "A total of 20 students from 17 different schools in Bursa province received a full score of 500 on the 2025 LGS. Only 2 of these students are graduates of imam hatip middle schools. Therefore, the claim that 39 students from the school in question received a full score of 500 is completely unfounded."
The statement also included information that the school in question had shared on social media congratulating all the students of imam hatip middle schools across Turkey who achieved a perfect score of 500, and that the post did not only include a statement of success for their own school. The following was noted:
This situation reveals that the posts were distorted and that an attempt was made to deliberately create a false perception. In a sensitive field like education, it is crucial not to rely on such baseless claims, which will cast a shadow over the efforts of our students and mislead the public. We must be wary of groups that seek to sow distrust in society through false content, and only official statements made by the Ministry of National Education should be taken into account.
