Former model and TV presenter Asuman Krause's home in Uskumruköy was flooded. Krause, who wanted to move to her home in Etiler for renovations, tried to evict her tenant, Serpil U. Krause filed a lawsuit and lost the case due to insufficient evidence.

Krause then filed a lawsuit, claiming the lease had expired for 10 years. The court again rejected the request, stating that 12 years were required for eviction.
