A truck overturned into a ditch on the Samsun-Ankara highway

A foreign-plated scrap-loaded truck driven by Yakup Ö. overturned into a ditch at the Kavak crossing of the Samsun-Ankara highway.

Upon notice, police and highway teams were dispatched to the scene.

Due to the accident, a 2-kilometer long vehicle queue formed on the highway.

The driver escaped the accident without any injuries and traffic was controlled in a single lane for a while.

After the vehicle was towed and the road was cleared, transportation returned to normal.
