The positive effects of teleworking on people's mental health

It took a group of researchers from the University of South Australia more than four years to scientifically prove that teleworking has positive effects on people's mental health .

The research team demonstrated, based on a study method, that people who worked or were employed in the work modality perceived that they felt much happier.
According to these workers, teleworking gives them the opportunity to focus on other recreational activities and be close to their family or loved ones.

In the evaluation, workers who work in virtual work environments highlighted aspects such as transportation, the balance between enjoyment and obligations, and time savings.
One of the points most valued by those surveyed in this sample was the time they saved on transportation, since in many cases, traffic causes irreversible damage to mental health.

The study also showed that workers, by spending less time commuting, were using it to pursue a much healthier lifestyle and incorporate exercise into their routines and habits.
It was also observed that teleworking improves productivity and efficiency rates for companies.
