Three Colombians in the Women's Nations League's ideal eleven after the first two rounds on the road to the World Cup
The Colombian women's national team had an unbeatable start in the Nations League, the new qualifying tournament for the World Cup, with two victories against Peru and Ecuador, to lead the standings.
The team's overall level was very high, with outstanding individual and collective performances. The team looked solid and capable of attacking. Linda Caicedo, who had been sidelined, ended up being important, although she didn't make the ideal eleven. In the next match, Colombia will face Bolivia away, and then they will have a bye week.

Proof of this was the assessment made by Conmebol after the first two rounds, by including three Colombians in the ideal eleven: Daniela Montoya, Leicy Santos and Carolina Arias.

Montoya was one of the key players for the national team. He started both matches on the bench but came on in the second half of each game and made a difference, scoring two goals. One of them, a spectacular strike against Ecuador, was a shot from outside the box after pouncing on a rebound, securing the victory.

Leicy Santos was another key player in these two matches. Her passes and striking ability were crucial to both victories. Her penalty kick against Ecuador was also a key contributor.

Carolina, for her part, played two great games in defense and in the attacks, contributing in both roles.
They are part of the starting eleven for these first two days, along with figures from Ecuador, Venezuela, Chile, Paraguay, Argentina and Uruguay.
