Dimayor confirms the schedule for Matchday 19 of the Betplay League and the controversial Chicó-América match: date and time

Colombian football was disrupted in the final stretch of the round-robin phase after Dimayor (the governing body of professional football) encountered difficulties rescheduling the match between Boyacá Chicó and América, which could not be played in either Tunja or Bogotá. The organization decided to postpone the entirety of Matchday 19 of the Liga Betplay, which was to be played this weekend, until next weekend, and a new schedule has already been released.

Dimayor decided as its main measure to postpone Matchday 19 of the Liga BetPlay DIMAYOR II-2025 in its entirety. This is because the match in question is crucial for the standings, and its cancellation this week, as scheduled, would have required a complete overhaul of the championship for the sake of fair play and to ensure that no team had an advantage in terms of qualification.

Matchday 19 of the BetPlay DIMAYOR II-2025 League will be played in its entirety on the weekend of November 7, 8 and 9.

The match between Santa Fe and Cali, which had the difficulty of a concert on November 8 at El Campín, was finally scheduled for the 9th, at the capital's venue.

All matches will be broadcast on Win + football, a channel that has not yet confirmed which matches will be shown on its free-to-air channel.

Dimayor also decided to hold matchday 20 of the Liga BetPlay DIMAYOR II-2025 between November 12 and 13.

On the other hand, the committee decided to schedule the two first leg Semifinals of the 2025 BetPlay DIMAYOR Cup for the weekend of November 1, 2 and 3.

Dimayor has rescheduled the postponed match between Boyacá Chicó and América de Cali, valid for Matchday 18 of the Liga BetPlay DIMAYOR II-2025, for November 6th. The game is confirmed to take place at La Independencia Stadium in Tunja at 6:10 pm.

This match was initially scheduled to be played this Thursday in Bogotá, but the District Commission for Safety, Comfort and Coexistence in Football denied the permit.

Palmira was also not accepted, as it is an alternate venue for América, nor was Valledupar, which refused due to the volume of red fans who would arrive for the match.
