Chivas Femenil defeats León and ends its losing streak

Chivas Femenil returned to winning ways after defeating León 1-2 on the road to Esmeralda. Antonio Contreras ' team ended a two-match winless streak, returning to winning ways ahead of the Clásico Nacional.

The first goal of the match came from Rojiblanca's striker, Alicia Cervantes , who after receiving the ball inside the area, fired a shot that went straight into the right corner and into the goal to make it 0-1 in favor of Chivas Femenil.

After being down on the scoreboard, the home team reacted immediately, as in the next play, the ball reached Luciana García , who with a soft touch defined to equalize the score at 1 to 1 .

In the second half, Chivas Femenil went all out in search of the goal that would give them the lead, and Antonio Contreras found the net from the bench after changes he made that revolutionized the Rojiblanco team.

Joseline Montoya reached the goal line on the left flank and then sent a cross into the area that was rejected, which was taken advantage of by Joselyn De La Rosa , who with first intention defined with a shot into the corner to make it 1-2 in the game.

As the match drew to a close, Blanca Félix made a grand entrance to prevent the goal that could have cost her the win, saving a shot from Selene Cortés and then parrying the ball off the rebound to keep the score at zero and give her team the win.
