Charros de Jalisco pull off a comeback against Tecolotes in a batting duel

Despite the Charros de Jalisco trailing by eight runs at one point, Benjamín Gil's team staged a thrilling comeback at the Estadio Panamericano, defeating the Tecolotes de los Dos Laredos 15-10 to take the series.
The game began with a strong dominance by the Tecos , who managed to accumulate a considerable 9-1 lead in just four innings played. The visitors' advantage was largely consumed by the weak pitching presented by starter Jeremy Rhoades , who was unable to stop the solid offense, allowing eight hits, seven runs, three walks and only three strikeouts in three innings of work.
However, the pitching on the other side of the pitching field also lacked excellence. In the fifth inning, Brandon Brennan allowed three Jalisco men to reach base, one on a walk and two due to being hit by a pitch, and the visiting defense began to unravel. With errors by the Dos Laredos and precise hitting, the Charros achieved a nine-run rally to shake off the dominance and turn it around.
In the next inning, the Tecolotes had a timid response, tying the score with a run by Danry Vásquez. But this proved to be of no use, as Jalisco again showed aggression, adding another four-run rally with home runs by Edwin Díaz and Carlos Mendívil, which also drove in runs.
The victory was sealed with a groundout by Dwight Smith Jr., who brought Michael to the plate Wielansky . The relievers finally managed to block the opposing hitters, and Josh Green collected the final three outs to secure Jalisco's third series of the season.
This Tuesday, May 13th at 7:35 PM, they will visit Caliente de Durango to embark on a new path in search of more victories . It's worth noting that the Durango team is in last place in the Northern Zone standings.
