Buffalo goes for third win

NFL Week 3 action kicks off this afternoon with a matchup between the Buffalo Bills and the Miami Dolphins, AFC East rivals.
Buffalo, one of the Super Bowl favorites, arrives with a perfect record and aims to maintain its dominance against Miami, which is having a difficult start to the regular season.
Bills quarterback Josh Allen will be available despite suffering a nosebleed in last weekend's game against the New York Jets.
The reigning league MVP has a 12-2 record against the Dolphins, with 37 touchdown passes against them. “None of that matters. It has no bearing on what he brings this week,” Allen said.
The Miami team is facing internal problems after a two-loss start, as well as a fractured relationship between quarterback Tua Tagovailoa and star receiver Tyreek Hill.
Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel remains calm despite criticism.
“I understand very well that this business is about results. My job is, the more other people talk about anything, the less I listen. Buffalo, that's what it is, and the Dolphins are the Dolphins,” he declared.
The pressure on McDaniel has increased, recalling last season's 2-6 start that left the team out of the playoffs. Now, the challenge is to beat an opponent they've only defeated once in 14 games and against whom they haven't won in Buffalo since 2016.
Defensive tackle Zach Sieler emphasized the group's stance.
"I don't care what our record is, we're going to Buffalo. We have to set the pace there," he said.
Bills head coach Sean McDermott, for his part, dismissed his team's dominance at home as a determining factor.
"It's an unfortunate part of our business for anyone who has to go through that. We focus on our team and try to really improve every day," he said.
Buffalo opened the season with a 41-40 victory over the Baltimore Ravens after coming from 15 points down and then beat the Jets 30-10.
Miami defensive coordinator Anthony Weaver said that meeting this challenge will be key.
“The time for regret was yesterday, baby. Today is for fighting. And that's what we're doing. It's time to fight back,” she shared.
Challenge for the Rams
The Philadelphia Eagles, poised to repeat as a Super Bowl contender by the NFC, a team that has demonstrated superiority in its victories against the Dallas Cowboys and the Kansas City Chiefs, will be the first big test this Sunday to determine whether the Los Angeles Rams can be considered a contender in the NFC.
In another matchup, the Green Bay Packers, with Jordan Love at the controls, are set to defeat a Cleveland Browns team that will have a tough task to win despite playing at home.
In Los Angeles, the Chargers will try to maintain their winning start against the Denver Broncos, their direct rival in the AFC West.
Also of interest is the duel for the top spot in the NFC West between the San Francisco 49ers and the Arizona Cardinals, as well as the game in which the Chiefs will seek their first win when they visit the New York Giants.
Week 3 will close on Monday with a duel between two of the league's most powerful teams: the Baltimore Ravens, led by Lamar Jackson, and the Detroit Lions, led by Jared Goff.— EFE
