The latest idea in the robot vacuum sector is to make them invisible with a hidden station.

Its design has been conceived to integrate into the home without attracting attention while working or at rest.

Robot vacuum cleaners have gone from being a simple accessory to becoming a commonplace in many homes, as they're a tool that saves a lot of time and effort. Beyond the fact that brands have improved battery power and connections, what users are also looking for is a minimal footprint in the home —that is, you don't have to constantly walk past them.

Many of these robots have stations that allow them to be stored inside the home , but LG has introduced something different at IFA 2025 in Berlin . It's a robot vacuum that automatically "hides" in a hidden station under the kitchen sink , which is usually a vacant space.

As LG reports , its design has been conceived to integrate seamlessly into the home while working or at rest. As such, the station has a door that opens and closes automatically, allowing the robot to enter and exit without the user having to do anything , making cleaning automatic. In other words, convenience is also offered in this regard.

Beyond a design that makes it practically independent, it integrates an artificial intelligence chip that can recognize furniture, objects, and dirtier areas , helping it move more precisely and adjust its route based on what it finds in the house. A great detail is that if it detects a carpet, it returns to the station to detach the mop and avoid stains.

And the station not only charges the battery, but also sterilizes the mop with hot water and steam after each use , ensuring maximum hygiene without unpleasant odors.

It's true that there's still some information the Korean company hasn't revealed, such as suction power and battery life . The final name, price, and when it will be available in Spain are also unknown .

In total, LG unveiled four new vacuum solutions at IFA 2025. "The devices offer greater convenience, powerful performance, and impeccable design, reaffirming the company's commitment to making European customers' everyday lives easier through innovation," the company said.

The range includes a robot vacuum cleaner with a steam mop, an integrated robot vacuum station, a handheld vacuum cleaner, and a wet/dry handheld vacuum cleaner.
