Here's how the iPhone 16 prices are after the release of Apple's new phone.

Apple kicked off its biggest annual event with the unveiling of the iPhone 17 - in several models including the Pro and Pro Max - with the true novelty of an ultra-thin phone, the Air, which is the first truly new design for a phone from the Cupertino company since it launched the iPhone 12 in 2020. The tech giant did so with a quote from the late Steve Jobs: "Design isn't just how it looks and how it feels. Design is how it works."
The American multinational has taken on the challenge of manufacturing its first ultra-thin phone without compromising other features such as battery life, durability, or heat dissipation. Its main feature is its thinness: at just 5.6 millimeters thick, it is the thinnest iPhone to date— 28% thinner than the iPhone 16 launched a year ago, which was 7.8 millimeters thick.
The phones can be reserved from September 12 at 2:00 p.m. in mainland Spain , and will be fully available on the 19th. Regarding prices, the iPhone 17 starts at 959 euros, the Air at 1,219, the Pro at 1,319 and the Pro Max at 1,469.
The arrival of a new generation of Apple phones is usually associated with a price drop compared to its predecessors, something many users take advantage of.
Apple's iPhone 16 was released in 2024 for a price of 959 euros, but now, with the launch of the iPhone 17, its price has plummeted to between 650 and 700 euros on platforms such as Amazon and AliExpress , where it is sold new for 760 euros. However, on the Cupertino company's official website, the 128 GB version is sold for 859 euros , a discount of 100 euros compared to the previous price.
The same goes for the 128GB 16 Plus model, which has gone from costing €1,109 (remember on the official website) to € 959 , which is what it's currently selling for. On the other hand, the 256GB 16 Plus costs €1,089, compared to € 1,239 a short time ago. The only model that hasn't changed in price is the 16e , the cheapest of the iPhones. Although it's cheap, it doesn't give up the good features that Apple phones always have.
