Streaming channels are making waves in Argentina and have managed to establish themselves primarily among young audiences. There are tons of them , with different profiles and, of course, with different results. Therefore, it's not surprising that all this innovation is generating particular attention among politicians who are eager to participate and speak to an audience that is increasingly elusive to them in most cases, with the libertarian followers of Javier Gerardo Milei being the most comfortable with this format.

Along these lines, none other than Máximo Carlos Kirchner was seen giving an extensive interview to Tomás Rebord during a break in the Peronist political fray and following the arrest of his mother. But what's curious, and what few know, is something that happened behind the scenes. Rebord has his show on the Blender channel, owned by the young and mysterious businessman Augusto Marini, who is said to be very close to the boss of the province of Misiones, Carlos Rovira, and toll road union leader Facundo Moyano.

To the surprise of everyone at Blender's facilities—two Sundays ago— owner Marini appeared on his channel (something very unusual) and waited patiently for the interview to end before holding a private meeting with the star interviewee. Accompanied by influencer and speaker Iván Liska, his faithful sidekick and current most trusted man who executes his every wish at Blender, Marini and Kirchner had a surprisingly lively conversation.

But the fact that cannot be overlooked is that Marini is also a partner in Carajo , the libertarian streaming channel run—with an iron fist—by Milei's "minister of networks," the doctor Daniel Parisini, better known as "El Gordo Dan," a member of Las Fuerzas del Cielo and very close to presidential advisor Santiago Caputo . The conversations between Máximo and Marini are being kept under wraps: have they discussed the possibility of bringing the former President's son to "La Misa," Parisini's popular program on which Javier Milei has already spoken at length? Will Marini thus strive to put a cloak of mercy on the rift, at least in the digital world? The wide avenue of streaming...

Good luck and see you later

The last few Sundays have been hectic for the La Cámpora boss: unable to watch Racing due to the local soccer break, he ended up having a meeting with the governor of Buenos Aires this past weekend. The political and personal differences between Axel Kicillof and Máximo Kirchner are notable, and a private conversation was necessary to ease the mistrust.

In a tense situation, Cristina's son told him that "my intention is not to be a candidate," which would contribute to a less hostile formation of lists between the Axelistas and the Cristina supporters, to which must be added the Massistas, who are currently playing in tune with Cristina Elisabet Kirchner's wishes. They also discussed the governor's proposal for the lists, aware that Cristina's supporters must have preponderance among these political tribes, which will also include other groups such as Juan Grabois's, currently sponsored by Máximo Kirchner.

Kicillof arrived at that meeting fearing that the Kirchners would end up breaking with him to compete under the name "Justicialist Party" and with the historic "List 2" , thus leaving the governor with an electoral name without any power, even though he considers having 47 mayors and the three labor unions on his side.

At that summit, it was decided that the discussion of the party's Congress, including representatives and the future of the lists, would be left to Gabriel Katopodis, Julio Alak, and Mariano Cascallares for the Axel party, and Federico Otermín and Mayra Mendoza for the Kirchner party. Sergio Tomás Massa has Alexis Guerrera and Sebastián Galmarini for these matters.

But the subsequent, larger meeting wasn't all pleasant. When the conversation got stuck, Máximo would get angry: "I'm resigning, I'm leaving; sort yourselves out," he repeated, referring to his role as president of the Buenos Aires PJ (Party of the People's Party). This style—which he adopted after resigning from the Peronist bloc of deputies during Alberto Fernández's administration— allowed him to leave the Peronist gathering before the rest...

Candidates

After Máximo's departure, an Axelist minister expressed his displeasure with this type of internal summit: "Axel doesn't attend meetings, he goes to ambushes," recalling previous meetings in Moreno, Quilmes, and the PJ headquarters where La Cámpora had shown hostility toward the economist.

After Máximo informed Axel that he did not want to be a candidate, talk of the "hidden candidates" for the race for seats in the province of Buenos Aires began. In the First Section, the candidates to lead the list for the provincial election on September 7 are Leonardo Nardini (Malvinas Argentinas), Gabriel Katopodis (San Martín), and Federico Achaval (Pilar). In the Third Section, names appear to be in the middle, not making waves in either camp because they are popular with the different sectors and thus aim to generate the consensus sought by the Peronist leaders. The names of the young mayors Gastón Granados (Ezeiza) and Nicolás Mantegazza (San Vicente) do not currently appear to be vetoed for a potential electoral race.

Negotiators know that when the provincial lists are discussed (the deadline is July 19), an agreement will be reached that includes the draft of the national lists for October, which determine the national representatives. The laborious agreement now has the "blessing" of Cristina Kirchner, who from her house arrest at 111 San José Street, tires her phone with messages and audio recordings containing orders and directives for her loyalists . Meanwhile, in the Constitución neighborhood, residents continue to be surprised that the high-end cars coordinated by Commissioner Walter Carbone are still lined up on the streets, just as they were in the days of full freedom. The story will continue...
