Two gun attacks reported inside two hospitals in Culiacán.

CULIACÁN, Sinaloa (apro).- Almost simultaneously this afternoon, two attacks on healthcare institutions were reported, with gunshots fired inside in both cases. This pair of cases brings the total to three attacks on hospitals in less than 24 hours in the capital of Sinaloa.
The first incident was reported to the emergency number shortly before 2:00 p.m. at the Culiacán Clinic, a private hospital in the central-eastern part of the city, where an armed group entered to kill a patient who was being treated inside.

Less than 2 kilometers north-east, a man disguised as a doctor entered the Culiacán General Hospital to finish off a patient.
In both cases, it is unofficially reported that the patients were initially admitted to the Civil Hospital, the target of an attack by an armed group on Friday night. Three people were killed, indirect victims, and four more were injured, including two women, one of them a minor.

After both attacks, the two hospitals were evacuated and secured by security personnel.
So far, the State Public Security Secretariat (SSPE) has not reported any arrests following these attacks, although they have deployed an operation in the area.
As of Friday, 107 people had been murdered in Sinaloa as part of the escalating violence stemming from the battle between Chapitos and Mayos, which has lasted 11 months and will reach a year next September.
