This past Saturday, August 30, Colombian bullfighter Juan de Castilla was gored several times in the town of Bayonne, France. The first bull of the afternoon, belonging to the Araúz de Robles ranch, threw the matador into the air during the finale of a knee pass. Fortunately, medical tests revealed no serious injury or ailment.

Juan de Castilla's manager, Jesús Salas, confirmed to Aplausos that despite the proximity of the goring to any vital organs, these were not affected in any way . Therefore, the interventions the bullfighter underwent have ruled out any major damage.
