Rapper Sean "Diddy" Combs was found guilty Wednesday of prostitution-related offenses but acquitted of all other charges he faced, including leading a criminal enterprise and sex trafficking.
The jury in the case reached a partial verdict on Tuesday on four of the five charges against him, but had yet to deliberate on the charge of "conspiracy to commit organized crime," the most important charge, which could have cost him life in prison.
Of the five charges, the jury only found him guilty of two related to "transportation for prostitution ," which applied to two victims: Cassie Ventura and another who testified under the pseudonym Jane Roe. Thus, he was acquitted of racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking.
According to specialized media, these two charges could cost him ten years in prison , but in any case, it's considered the most lenient verdict . In fact, upon hearing it, Combs thanked the jury several times. Many in the courtroom erupted with emotion and celebration.

After the verdict was announced, which was read by the jury foreman and corroborated by the other jurors, Diddy looked at his lead attorney, Marc Agnifilo, nodding in satisfaction, and also at his family, with whom he celebrated the decision.
Agnifilo has asked the judge to release Combs, who remains in a Brooklyn jail, until the judge issues the sentence, which will happen in several weeks . For its part, the prosecution has argued that he remains a flight risk and remains a "threat" to society .
