Cayetano will not fight in Burgos this Tuesday after being arrested by the police.

Cayetano will not be able to say goodbye to Burgos , where he was announced this Tuesday, along with Emilio de Justo and Tomás Rufo , who was replacing a convalescent Marco Pérez, to kill a bullfight in Núñez del Cuvillo, after being involved in a commented incident with the police.
The bullfighter was arrested early Monday morning at a fast-food restaurant for "resistance and disobedience" to the police, according to Aplausos. He was released around 7:30 a.m., but will not be able to participate in the bullfight at the Coliseum.
Rivera posted a statement on social media to clarify what happened in response to the news reports, citing "the need to clarify that at no time did I engage in or participate in any act of aggression toward law enforcement officers."
The bullfighter's message is as follows:
"I deeply regret that unfounded versions are being spread about events that, in no way, occurred as has been suggested. I also want to express my respect for the law enforcement agencies, whose work I value and acknowledge.
That's why I ask for discretion and responsibility when addressing this matter, especially given the potential impact it could have on both a personal and institutional level. What I regret most is not being able to be in Burgos tomorrow and bid farewell to its fans. Thank you.
