The Palmosilla bulls star in the seventh running of the bulls

Last year, these bulls opened the running of the bulls on their first day, and performed a run lasting four minutes and 12 seconds, with half a dozen injuries, although none were gored. More than two minutes elapsed between the entry of the first bull and the last into the bullring pens. Two minutes and six seconds (a record for this ranch) was the time set by the leader of the race, who hurriedly made his way around the ring, followed by three companions. In the group that brought up the rear, two bulls, one black and the other chestnut, decided to break protocol and, instead of following the current headman, turned to the left and began a lap of the ring, shaving the boards and sweeping everything in their path.

La Palmosilla was founded in 1996 in Tarifa (Cádiz) by José Javier Núñez Cervera and his son, and their horses debuted in Pamplona in 2019 with a fast race, lasting just over two minutes, and without any goring. This afternoon, Fortes, Fernando Adrián, and Ginés Marín will fight them.
