Rayo Vallecano's stadium under UEFA's scrutiny: this is its current state

Rayo Vallecano 's stadium is undergoing renovations by the Community of Madrid. However, will they be sufficient for UEFA to accept them for the Conference League ?
Rayo Vallecano has had a historic season after qualifying for the Conference League playoff round in its centenary year. However, the Madrid club could face a problem due to the size and current condition of its stadium.
Several UEFA emissaries have been in Vallecas inspecting Rayo Vallecano's stadium and studying whether it is feasible to host the European competition there.

According to the regulations, the field must be classified as Category 4 , and the biggest challenge is the size of the pitch. UEFA would also be concerned about stadium access, the parking lot, the press area, the restrooms, and the VIP boxes.

Although UEFA has initially given Rayo Vallecano the green light, the Madrid-based team could be unable to play the Conference League at its home stadium.

Now, it will be crucial whether the improvement works are completed on time or not, especially considering whether they have to play the first leg at home. Therefore, Rayo is playing against the clock.
