Leo XIV and his thousand crosses

On the second day of the Conclave, American Cardinal Robert Francis Prevost was elected to succeed Francis as the 267th pope of the Catholic Church.

Prevost, who will bear the name Leo XIV as pope, is originally from Chicago, but has strong ties to Latin America.
