Beethoven arrested with drugs in Mérida

Agents from the State Investigation Police (PEI) of the Ministry of Public Security (SSP) arrested Raúl Alberto “N,” alias “Beethoven,” in possession of drugs in southern Mérida.

The arrest took place in the María Luisa neighborhood, following intelligence work resulting from an anonymous tip about his alleged illicit activities in various parts of the city.

According to the report, the complaint included a physical description of the individual and indicated that he distributed narcotics in various locations in Mérida.

During a surveillance patrol, officers located a man who matched the characteristics described and proceeded to intercept him.

During the inspection, they found several small bags of narcotics, as well as more drugs inside the vehicle in which he was traveling.

Based on these findings, the subject was arrested and taken to the Public Ministry, where the corresponding legal responsibilities will be determined.
