A toy bear with 'human skin' terrifies at a gas station: This is what police found.

San Bernardino County authorities responded to the AMPM station in Victorville, California, after receiving reports of a teddy bear wrapped in what appeared to be human skin found near a business.

This discovery raised concerns and prompted a response from law enforcement, who cordoned off the area and contacted the local medical examiner to examine the found item.

Forensic specialists, wearing gloves, handled the bear and placed it in a bag for examination. Shortly afterward, it was confirmed that it contained no human traces, but rather a latex model.

Creator takes ownership: “An Etsy commission”

Creator Robert Kelly of Dark Seed Creations in South Carolina acknowledged shipping the bear to a buyer in Victorville. The plush toy was available in his Etsy shop for $165 and is designed to mimic “random sections of fur.”

Authorities continue their inconclusive investigation. They are examining security camera footage to identify the person responsible for the gruesome bear. So far, no official charges have been filed, although the case remains under review.
