Airline alliance: Oman Air becomes a Oneworld member

Oman Air is now the 15th member of the Oneworld airline alliance. The national airline of the Sultanate of Oman is expanding the alliance's presence in the Middle East.

From 1 July, Oneworld customers will be able to access an expanded route network on Oman Air's growing global schedule, including the launch of a new non-stop Muscat-Amsterdam service.

Oman Air, with its hub at Muscat International Airport, serves 42 destinations in 22 countries and territories worldwide, including major Oneworld hubs. The airline offers three flight classes, including an exclusive Business Studio with private suites on select long-haul flights.

At the end of 2024, Oman Air also became one of only ten airlines worldwide to receive the prestigious APEX WORLD CLASS Award and was the first to receive APEX WORLD CLASS status for its Business Class Lounge at Muscat International Airport. The awards are determined based on customer reviews and quality testing.

“This partnership opens up exciting new connections for our customers, particularly in the Gulf region and South Asia, and strengthens Oneworld’s position as a premium alliance for international travelers,” said Con Korfiatis, CEO of Oman Air.
