There are only two matchdays left in the Bundesliga this season, and a lot can be decided, especially regarding promotion and relegation.
Otherwise, much remains to be seen in the Bundesliga 1 and 2. However, numerous decisions can already be made in both leagues on Matchday 33. An overview:
In addition to FC Bayern and Leverkusen, Eintracht Frankfurt can also qualify for the Champions League again this weekend
- -with a win on Sunday against FC St. Pauli.
- in the event of a draw against St. Pauli, if Borussia Dortmund does not win at Bayer Leverkusen on Sunday or if SC Freiburg does not win at Holstein Kiel on Saturday.
- If St. Pauli loses, one of three scenarios occurs: Dortmund and RB Leipzig (at Werder Bremen on Saturday) do not win, or Dortmund does not win and Freiburg loses, or Leipzig does not win and Freiburg loses. This also applies if Dortmund and Leipzig do not win and Freiburg loses.
The sports club from Freiburg can also secure their place in the Champions League with a win on Saturday at Holstein Kiel, if Borussia Dortmund loses at Bayer Leverkusen on Sunday and RB Leipzig does not win at Werder Bremen on Saturday.
Two relegation decisions could be made at the bottom of the table on Matchday 33. VfL Bochum will be relegated
- in a defeat on Saturday against FSV Mainz 05
- in the event of a draw against Mainz, if 1. FC Heidenheim gets at least one point against 1. FC Union Berlin on Saturday or if Holstein Kiel wins against SC Freiburg on Saturday.
- if they win against Mainz, if Heidenheim wins in Berlin.
Holstein Kiel also faces relegation to the 2nd Bundesliga this weekend. The Storks will be promoted if they lose to SC Freiburg on Saturday, and if 1. FC Heidenheim wins at 1. FC Union Berlin on Saturday.
In the second division, Hamburger SV is close to returning to the 1. Bundesliga. HSV is promoted
Jahn Regensburg has already been relegated from the 2nd Bundesliga.
- in the event of a defeat on Saturday at Hamburger SV, if Preußen Münster gets at least one point against Hertha BSC on Friday.
- in the event of a draw at HSV, if Münster wins against Hertha.
