Florian Neuhaus: What we know and what we don't – 11FREUNDE fact check

What happened? On Sunday evening, a video appeared showing a group of boys wearing Borussia Mönchengladbach jerseys. They apparently encountered Florian Neuhaus, a midfielder for the same club from the Rhine, on a promenade on the popular holiday island of Mallorca.
Where did the video appear? The video can be found on Reddit; judging by the video's formatting, it was first shared via Snapchat. It became known on Sunday evening when Twitter user "Claudio Obert" posted the eleven-second video online. He captioned it: "Drunks and children always tell the truth. What do you say to that?" and tagged Borussia Mönchengladbach journalist Kevin Schulte and Twitter user "bmg_marv."
Why the hell is this even news? Well, apparently, Florian Neuhaus – to put it mildly – didn't spit in his beer glass beforehand. Quite the opposite: The ten-time German international has about three atmospheres in his system. But that's not all. Neuhaus responds to the bystanders' theory that sporting director Roland Virkus is the worst manager in the world, saying: "Don Rollo is giving Florian Neuhaus one, two, three, four million."
Who is Don Rollo? Roland Virkus.
What does all this mean? We have no idea.
Any ideas? There are at least three theories: It could be that Florian Neuhaus is confirming the theory that Roland Virkus is the worst manager in the world, because he calls him "Don Rollo" and suggests that he only received a salary of four million euros from him. It could also be that Florian Neuhaus is contradicting the men around him by telling them that he is very grateful to Roland Virkus for four million euros. Or, and this is the most likely scenario: He considers him the worst manager in the world because Florian Neuhaus knows about his recent performance and still gets four million euros.
How should I imagine Florian Neuhaus's expression this morning when he checked his phone (276 new messages, a missed call from Roland Virkus)? Do you perhaps have a suitable meme?

What happens next? Normally, the experienced media mills are grinding away: 11FREUNDE will publish two and a half funny picture galleries, including a best-of of the most embarrassing football videos (Salomon Kalou, Max Kruse, etc.) and online reactions . BILD will run a headline with something like "Mallorca" and "Scandal." Serious newspapers will try to solve the case and will be spectacularly thwarted by Borussia Mönchengladbach's press department ("We are aware of it," "We are in contact with the player," "We will not make any further statements until all the details have been clarified"). At some point, some ex-professional, somewhere, will speak out and claim that things cannot continue like this and that consequences must be met. When Mario Basler speaks out, it will be about how much vodka and lemon he consumed during his playing days to still score goals against Manchester United.
Wait a minute, that's all you know? Have you even done any research? Hardly. But here's the video again:
