DOW JONES--News of the recall of its electric retro minivan, the ID. Buzz, in the US, because the rear seat does not have sufficient seatbelts to meet US regulations, had no noticeable impact on VW shares. Late last month, VW stated that the third-row seat of the ID. Buzz was designed for two passengers and therefore equipped with two seatbelts. However, US authorities believed the rear seat was wide enough for three people, meaning the vehicle therefore violated seat-size regulations.
Following the completion of its public tender offer for Compugroup Medical, financial investor CVC Capital Partners holds a 24.27 percent stake in the medical software provider. As agreed, CVC plans to launch a public delisting tender offer of €22.00 per share in cash. Compugroup Medical's share price closed at €22.12 in regular trading and remained largely unchanged after hours.
